RxLab Auth is a modern authentication system built with Next.js 16 and React 19 that serves as the identity provider for the RxLab ecosystem. It supports multiple authentication methods — email and password with Argon2 hashing, configurable OAuth providers, and WebAuthn passkeys for passwordless login.

The system includes email verification, password reset flows via Resend, an account management dashboard, and an admin panel for user administration. Security features include Iron Session management, JWT token support, Redis-based rate limiting through Upstash, and a scope-based permissions system for fine-grained access control.

Built on Drizzle ORM with Turso (libSQL), shadcn/ui components, Tailwind CSS v4, and Playwright for end-to-end testing. Profile customisation includes Identicon generation, and the OIDC provider endpoint lets any application in the ecosystem authenticate users against a single identity — making it the foundation for all RxLab services.
