Linda Assistant is a full-stack personal AI assistant with a native iOS app and a Next.js backend. An AI agent powered by Claude runs autonomously on the backend — drafting emails, creating tasks, searching your inbox, and generating documents — with human-in-the-loop confirmation for sensitive actions like sending emails.

The architecture connects the SwiftUI iOS client to a Bun-powered API server via REST and Server-Sent Events. A RabbitMQ message queue decouples the API from a dedicated worker process that runs the AI agent. The system uses Turso for persistence, Upstash Redis for SSE caching, AWS S3 for file storage, and a Python microservice layer with Celery for scheduled tasks and Mem0 for vector memory.

The iOS app surfaces chat, briefings, email, task management, document creation, and slide deck generation. Users can choose AI models per assistant, configure fine-grained tool permissions (auto-approve, require confirmation, or reject), and extend the agent with custom or system extensions — all from a single native interface.
