Overview
Resume MCP is a Model Context Protocol server built in Go that lets AI agents create, update, and manage structured resume data. It combines an MCP server for AI assistant integration with a REST API for generating styled HTML previews using customisable Go templates.
The data model supports contacts, work experience, education, and flexible feature maps for custom sections. Templates can be created, managed, and duplicated — each with its own styling. The server generates complete HTML previews that can be viewed in a browser or exported, making it practical for both AI-assisted resume building and automated generation.
Available as a pre-built binary for macOS (arm64 pkg installer) or buildable from source, the server plugs into Claude Desktop or any MCP client. AI agents can populate resume fields through natural conversation, then instantly preview the result with any registered template.
