Overview
JSONRenderSwift is a SwiftUI generative UI framework inspired by Vercel Labs' json-render. AI generates a flat JSON spec describing components and their props, and your app renders them as native SwiftUI views — safe, predictable, and fast. The framework constrains AI output to a catalog of known components with typed properties, preventing hallucinated UI while enabling dynamic interfaces.
The spec format uses a flat element tree with a root reference, making it straightforward for language models to generate. Built-in components cover common patterns — cards, text, images, lists, buttons — and the framework is fully extensible with custom renderers. You register your own SwiftUI views against component names and the engine handles the rest.
Targeting iOS 17+ and macOS 14+ with Swift 6.0+, JSONRenderSwift is distributed as a Swift Package. It pairs naturally with AgentKit for building AI apps where the model decides what to show and the framework ensures it renders correctly.
