Overview
Dashboard Search UI is a React component library for building AI-powered search interfaces. It provides three core components: SearchTrigger for customisable search buttons, SearchCommand for command palette dialogs with instant results, and SearchAgent for an AI chat interface with streaming responses.
The library ships with full TypeScript support, Tailwind CSS v4 styling, shadcn/ui components, and Framer Motion animations. A useSearchAgent hook manages chat state, and the components integrate with Vercel's AI SDK for streaming AI responses. Published as @rx-lab/dashboard-searching-ui on npm.
Designed to drop into any dashboard or documentation site, the components handle the full search experience — from the initial trigger button through the command palette to a conversational AI agent that can answer questions about your content with streaming responses and source citations.
