Overview
ArgoTrading macOS is a document-based SwiftUI application that wraps the Argo Trading strategy framework in a native macOS interface. Each project is saved as a .rxtrading document that tracks market data, strategy source files, schemas, dataset selections, and backtest results — bringing the complete trading strategy development cycle to the desktop.
The document model manages four key areas: data folders for market data, strategy folders for source code, result folders for backtest outputs, and schemas that define how data is structured and selected for backtesting. The app uses DuckDB as its embedded analytics database for fast query execution over large market datasets.
Built entirely in SwiftUI with Swift Concurrency, the app resolves all dependencies through Swift Package Manager. It includes unit and UI test targets, and can be built and tested from the command line with xcodebuild — making it suitable for CI integration alongside the core Go framework.
